Dun Laoghaire is a coastal town based six miles south of Dublin City Centre. With 228 Bedrooms, 14 Dedicated Meeting Rooms and a Conference Centre as well as The Pier Health Club and Fáilte Ireland accredited ‘Dublin’s Only Comprehensive Spa’ called sansanaSPA; the Royal Marine Hotel has it all.
The 228 bedrooms are fully air conditioned and furnished with crisp cotton linen duvets, LCD televisions, mini fridges, broadband, laptop sized safes, executive chair/desk, stand alone showers and baths.
The Hotel is made up on three sections; the McCurdy, the Haigh Block and the Marine Block.
The interior design in the Marine and Haigh Blocks are the same with bright vibrant autumnal colours, whilst the McCurdy Block is slightly different with a warm brown and cream tone to the room.
McCurdy is part of the original building. As this was built back in 1828 and is now a listed building, during the recent refurbishment between 2004 and 2007, we have maintained the old world feeling of the rooms.
There are 15 Suites in the McCurdy block, of which 13 are Junior Suites and 2 are Presidential Suites. Our Standard Rooms and Executive Rooms can be found in the Marine Block and the Haigh Block.

Food & Beverage facilities include Dún Restaurant, Hardy’s Bar, Laurels Bar, Pavillion Bar, The Atrium and the Bay Lounge.
Dún Restaurant is the main restaurant in the Hotel. An excellent choice of Á La Carte and Early Bird menus are available. This restaurant is ideal for both individuals or groups as the restaurant is designed to accommodate large groups in private sections of the restaurant, therefore if you’re looking for a quiet relaxed setting, you are guaranteed to find it in the luxurious ambience of this restaurant overlooking Dublin Bay.
Hardy’s Bar is the main bar in the Hotel. With an excellent Bar Food Menu and Live Music & Complimentar y Finger Food on certain nights, this welcoming bar has a great atmosphere.
Laurels Bar is located above the main Hardy’s Bar. It is normally booked for private functions and has its’ own private access as well as being accessible from Hardy’s Bar.
Pavillion Bar has the grandeur of days gone by with views of Dublin Bay. This bar is normally used as a reception bar or for private bookings.
The Atrium is the hub of the Hotel during the day with a busy coffee station offering a wide selection of teas & coffee, pastries, croissants and muffins.
