The 19th Century Georgian Listed building is perched on a hill overlooking the stunning Glandore Harbour, West Cork. Only an hour drive from Cork airport, Glandore is certainly the ultimate getaway destination and within easy reach of any city

Food :

At the Rectory our chefs have always been inspired by the local area. There is no set cuisine at the Rectory. The best wat to explain it is that it is mainly European. The description of the food is fine dining at its highest level serving simple, clean, beautifully presented food, restaurant style. There is a strong influence on products that are free-range and organic and sourced by name in the locality of West Cork. All food products are sourced fresh as much as possible locally and then further a-field. Rare and specialized ingredients are sourced from abroad.

We are well experienced in large group parties and understand what is needed in a menu. We try to work out every eventuality with food concerns even down to the stocks for soups with the majority of these being vegetarian. With a 5 course menu it is necessary to have a well balanced meal and so the chefs take great care and attention when creating these.

If any of your guests have special dietary requirements a suitable menu can be constructed accordingly with each course to theor requirements when given advance notice, e.g. coeliac, nut allergy, shellfish etc. Please understand we are not a large scale business, so when dealing with large guest numbers all seating at the same time extra details like this will add more time to the duration of the meal which could possibly impact on your day.
